Biography
Leigh Allen (Lighting Designer) is a recipient of the Los Angeles Drama Critics' Circle Award for career achievement in Lighting Design. She recently garnered an LA Weekly Award for Treefall with Rogue Machine Theater Company, where she also designed the world premiere of Stephen Sayter’s New York Animals. Other awards include: Killer Joe (Ovation: Production of the Year), Like A dog on Linoleum (GLAAD Award), The Secret Garden (Macy Award), and the LADCC and LA Weekly award for Johnny Got His Gun. She has also designed for Princess Cruiselines, Regent Cruiselines, Opera Santa Barbara, Musical Theater West, South Bay Civic Light Opera, Deaf West, Anteaus Theater Co., the Children’s Conservatory Program at South Coast Repertory Theatre, The California Youth Theatre program in LA, and many more.
