Biography
T L Kolman is a critically acclaimed actor, director and award winning producer. Directing credits for The Production Company include To Kill a Mockingbird, The Diviners, The Twilight of the Golds (StageSceneLA’s Outstanding Direction of a Play), Clear As Day, True Blue, and Scrub My Tub. Other directing credits include The Shadow Box (One of the Top Ten Plays of 2004), Agnes of God, and Ordinary People. His producing credits include the world premiere of Nicholas Nickleby, Equus (LADCC & LA Weekly Awards for Best Revival and Ovation Nomination, Best Play), Sweeney Todd (Ovation Nomination, Best Musical), Amadeus, Copenhagen, How I Learned to Drive, Breaking the Code, M. Butterfly, Wit (Ovation Nomination, Best Play), Spring Awakening, In On It, A Good Smoke, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Working. As an actor his recent stage appearances include Mrs. Warren's Profession, The Eight: Reindeer Monologues, the world premiere of Buddies at Celebration Theatre, Sunday in the Park with George at West Coast Ensemble (Ovation Nomination, Best Musical), Insurrection: Holding History, Medea, The Elephant Man, Love! Valour! Compassion! and Nicholas Nickleby. Film and television roles include A Day of Rest, Temptation, Contact, and Mixed Nuts. He is probably best known for his role as the Xyrillian Engineer on Star Trek: Enterprise. Mr. Kolman can be heard as the singing vocals of Ratha Sam on the CD recording of Cambodia: The Musical. He is a proud member of AEA and SAG.
